| The IGCC 15 is a market capitalization index of 15 Indo-German companies. It reflects the share price performance of these companies in the Indian stock markets (BSE & NSE). The salient features of this index are: |

- It consists of 15 listed Indo-German companies out of a total of about 24 listed companies
- Only companies with German shareholding of more than 25% has been considered
- Only companies whose shares are regularly traded with a minimum average daily trading volume of 1,000 shares for shares with face value of Rs. 10 and 100 shares for shares with face value of Rs. 100 have been considered in the index
- January 1, 2002 has been used as the base date
- Base value is 100

Note:
- Widia (India) which was part of the original index have been replaced by KSB Pumps after Widia (India) became a subsidiary of Kennametal of USA.
- ABB which was part of the original index have been replaced by ZF Steering Gear as it is not essentially an Indo German company.
- Bayer(I) in now Bayer Cropscience.
- Bayer ABS is now known as Lanxess ABS (w.e.f 29.04.05)
* Note: Henkel Spic, which was part of the original index, has been replaced by Porritts and Spencer following a reverse merger of Henkel Spic with its own subsidiary.
* Note: Siemens Ltd. (SIEMENS) has announced a 'Face Value Split of shares from Rs.10 per share to Rs.2 per share'. The adjusted market lot has been arrived at by multiplying the old market lot by the adjustment factor (5). |

Since its inception, the IGCC 15 Index has recorded a remarkable performance. This is a reflection of the fact that the Indo-German collaboration companies have integrated well in the Indian market and have become important players in their areas of operation. Siemens has fixed 03 March 2008 as the record date for the issue of bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1 after splitting on 29th February 2008 |
